This morning my Deputy Chief of Staff, David Litvack and I had the opportunity to serve the homeless and receive a tour of the facilities at St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen. We first met years ago in the same kitchen peeling carrots!
So many people in our community are working to make positive change in our community and they deserve our support!
The men and woman (Kim) of SLC's snow and ice team are handling this record storm like the pros they are. Stay safe out there and help them out by getting off the roads if you can. #utsnow

I was happy to meet with Mayor Ralph Becker to discuss our mutual desire for a smooth transition. There is no question that Mayor Becker loves our great city and I am grateful for his cooperation and kindness during this process.
Yesterday, after the mayoral results were announced, I had the privilege of attending a tree planting in honor of Mayor Deedee Corradini--a woman I am proud to have called a mentor, partner, and friend. We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us and have a responsibility to lift up those behind us. #legacy
It's official today and I am so grateful the people of Salt Lake City have placed their trust in me to be the next mayor of our great city. #slc #utah
What can women do in public life? Anything. I am proud to have been involved with Real Women Run from the beginning. I wouldn't have missed tonight for anything--what a way to top off an amazing week!
We rarely accomplish our goals alone. My campaign staff was incredible. They came to work hard and worked for the right reasons. #thankyou

As a mother I have concern for all children in our community, but I hold onto hope that this is not the end of the conversation. Read my full statement -> http://bit.ly/1WEaTap
I am deeply humbled by the support and trust I have received from the people of Salt Lake City. Our message is clearly resonating with the voters, but we must wait until the final vote is certified on November 17th to claim victory.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this campaign—I am confident that in the end we will prevail. #timeforjackie
